HOW HAPPY HOME TRUST CAME INTO FORCE
Smt. Visalakshmi Amma was the founder member of this Home who was moved with passion having come across numerous old people who was facing various problems in their old age and was feeling very lonely. After her sad demise, this home was taken over by her son Dr. Madhusoodhanan A.N, who has two Homes one in Chennai and another at Palakkad, Kerala. All the two Homes cater to all segments of the society.
HISTORY OF HAPPY HOME TRUST
HAPPY HOME TRUST had a humble beginning in 1995 with a small old age home in Sakthi Nagar ,Ayypakkam , Chennai ,Tamil Nadu –with just one inmate. This home is run by Dr.Madhusoodhnan , in memory of his mother. With the Trust commitment and transparency extending over 15 years, HAPPY HOME TRUST has emerged as a force to reckon with under the stewardship of Dr .Madhusoodhanan AN .

Karunya Geriatric Care Centre is a unit of “ Palakkad Alzheimers’ Charitable Trust “ – a non profit making organization (Certificate No.2186 /2013) doing charitable work in the field of Geriatric Care since February 2001. This Trust is registered with Sub-Registrar of Palakkad, Kerala – Regn.No.51 of Book IV on 8th February 2001. This Trust also has approval by Govt. of Kerala Board of Control for Orphanages, Trivandrum to run Karunya Geriatric Care Centre, Palakkad as non profit making organization. This Trust is also approved by the Comissioner of Income Tax Trichur, as an institution to which al donations are exempted from payment of Incmoe Tax under section 80G – Certificate No. CIT-TCR-/TECH/80G-36/2009-10.
