Keeping in view that the most severe problems of senior citizens are isolation, poverty and neglect,
the Senior Citizen Forum was constituted in 2008 by the retired persons of BHEL, Haridwar.
Registered as a charitable trust in Aug 2010, our primary concern is the welfare of senior citizens in particular and also the society at large. As on date we have about 700 members. Our biggest strength is a highly dedicated team of about 40 trusties, fully dedicated for selfless service of the society.
We are operating one of the best Physiotherapy Centers in Uttarakhand, on very nominal charge of Rs.50/- per visit. The center is equipped with 7 beds and the corresponding equipment to treat 7 patients simultaneously. We have three well qualified doctors and average number of patients per day is 35 to 40.
