3.Sneha Mandir
The Goa Hindu Association’s cultural wing Kala Vibhag, has emerged out of its prolonged hibernating state of 20 Years and stepped forward to revive musical play ‘Sangeet Matsyagandha’, a play, written by legendary playwright Prof Vasant Kanetkar and originally produced by The Goa Hindu Association (GHA) in 1964.
The inaugural show of this play was performed on 24th September 2017, at Shivaji Mandir, Dadar (W).

- FOUNDATION, PURPOSE AND AIM
The congregation of the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross was founded by Fr.Theodosius Florentini OFM Cap. and Blessed Mother Maria Theresia Scherer in Switzerland in the year 1856. It is affiliated to the Third order Regular of St.Francis of Assisi, and is of pontifical Right.
The foundation took place in Switzerland at a time of upheaval and change. A vast number of people in the industrial nations of Europe had been plunged into poverty and misery with the onset of the industrial revolution in Europe. Orphaned and neglected children roamed the roads or were forced to work in factories in inhuman conditions. The sick had no proper care; industrial workers were exploited; the educational system was badly in need of reform; proper schooling was available only to a privileged section of society.
In to this situation God called and sent a young Capuchin, Fr. Theodosius, who was gifted with an extraordinary social awareness. It is said of him that “He saw in one hour what most people never see in their lifetime. “He recognized the will of God in the needs of the people of his time and searched tirelessly for means and ways to alleviate their sufferings. Being a son of St. Francis, he was imbued with a profound sense of God’s universal fatherhood, and therefore he saw in every human being under the sun a brother and a sister. He found it intolerable that some of God’s children should live in plenty and wield power over their less privileged brothers and sisters. With boundless confidence in God He used his creative mind and dynamic personality in his efforts to change the unjust structures of society. He initiated and supervised social welfare schemes, drew up a new ‘School organization” which in the course of time was followed, and even set up “model factories” which gave priority to human and Christian values.

SANJEEVAN COMPLEX
Set in a pristine location with a view of the domes of the temples of Shree Naguesh, Shree Mahalaxmi and Shree Shantadurga at Kavlem and St. Roques Church. the construction of the building was undertaken in a phased manner. The construction of the complex, which now houses the various activities of the organization, was started on 29th October 2001, on a 5000 sq. mt., hilly plot of land allotted to the Society for Youth Development by the Communidade of Bandora with the approval of Government of Goa.

8.Verna House – El Shaddai Charitable Trust (Boys Home)
At the bottom, are the children most vulnerable and at risk of abuse. These are the children who live on the streets, under bridges and beside railway stations. Some are orphans. Some are driven from their homes. Some have run away from an abusive parent or step-parent. Some others, confined to the walls of their home, forced into labour, sexual abuse or even prostitution. Alone, these children do not have the divine right to a happy childhood with access to care, food and education.
Your help provides these children safe and happy childhoods. Your efforts to raise funds and support the work on the ground help to give these children homes. In the Homes, children grow up in a safe and caring environment, sometimes for the first time in their young lives. Here they receive nutritious meals and learn about hygiene. Regular health check-ups ensure they receive their vaccinations and medical issues are addressed.
Every child in the Homes attends school. Some who have attended schools before, continue at a nearby public school. Other children, who have never attended school or who have dropped out of the system for years, go to non-formal schools until they are ready to take the public exams.
