2.same-day dry cleaners
They are not a same day dry cleaner. I walked in on a friday at noon and asked if it could be done for the next day and she flat out told me no, not until monday. How is that same day dry cleaning?! Besides that, she was a very rude lady. Lillian’s tailor shop and drycleaners on dresden row was happy to do it for me and she was very pleasant. I know where i’m taking my dry cleaning from now on.

My experience with this business has been negative 5 star regardless of the location. Whether it’s mumford or bedford, it’s the same rude experience. One time at mumford location, i bought pizza from the next store and went there to pick up my clothes. I put the pizza box on couch so i could make the payments. The lady at counter yelled her lungs out like i committed crime. Holly smoke never been so embarrassed in my life

5.vic master tailor
Vic did a wonderful job repairing my work pants. I do work outdoors and being on my knees all day puts holes in my pants pretty quickly. I asked them to patch both knees on my pants, and hem them. They were done to prefection. He also left the extra material in my pocket which are the same size as my patches, which will be great if i need to get them patched up again! You can tell as soon as you walk into the store that vic takes his job very seriously. I will for sure go back in the future if i need more work done. Thanks vic!

Took a prom dress in to get altered, and i took it in very late, a couple days before my prom, and kim managed to fix my dress on time and did an amazing job, it feels and looks great!! Would highly recommend this tailor! Very reasonably priced as well! I am throughly pleased with her work.

8.bayside tailor & dry cleaning
Went in for a hem. She insisted straps needed tightening. I resisted. She said she would just do a couple small stitches- maybe a cm at most. I got the dress back – the hem alone came to $80, the straps were shortened by more than 2”. The straps were uneven and she did not even hem the lining! It fell 4” below the hem she put in it. She was also late getting the alterations done and did not call to let me know so i sat around with my screaming toddler for an hour while she ruined the dress, charged me a fortune and did not once apologize. I left in tears.

10.martinizing dry cleaning
Called to ask a question about their cleaning services and found the person who answered the phone rude. I also asked about fur and at first they said they can not clean fur at their location, and when i called back it changed to yes we can. I wouldn’t trust that!!! Most places can’t clean fur properly and to say she wasn’t really listening to me the first time i called, hmm no thanks!
