Renowned astrologer Bejan Daruwalla dies, breathes his last at 90

Noted astrologer Bejan Daruwalla died on Friday. At the age of 90, he breathed his last at a private hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is being told that he was suffering from Corona virus. However, his family has denied this. According to media reports, he was admitted to a private hospital since last week. He was having trouble breathing. He was on ventilator for a week.

Bejan Daruwalla’s son Nastur denied him to be Corona positive. He said that he had pneumonia. He also had infections in his lungs. Born on 11 July 1931, Daruwala was from a Parsi family and was famous for his predictions. Daruwala, a devotee of Lord Ganesha, predicted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s victory in 2014 and 2019.

He also predicted that Sanjay Gandhi would die in an accident. On 23 June 1980, Sanjay Gandhi was killed in a plane crash. Apart from this, he predicted Manmohan Singh to become the Prime Minister of the country from the Kargil War to the Gujarat earthquake and before the Congress came to power in 2004. Daruwala, who wrote astrologer columns in several newspapers, was also honored with several national and international awards.

He used to predict through various techniques. He was a master of many techniques including Vedic astrology, numerology, hand watching. He also often predicted market fluctuations. According to his website he was the best astrologer in America. His life mantra for a happy life was, ‘Live, love and be happy’. Prince Lakshiraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur’s City Palace in Rajasthan, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde often consulted him.
