What is the big problem that Indians are not taking seriously

We Indians have the problem that we never take anything seriously, whether about education, diseases, environment, government, or viruses. We have become habitual of facing issues, the humans generate some problems, and some are due to natural calamities.  Several things are going wrong in India, but despite dealing with the problems, Indians accept it as the part of their life.

We are dealing with a lot of problems in India thus we don’t do anything to resolve that. We neglect every question and don’t even consider it. We think that it is our fate that we are facing this problem. We have the problem that we never raise our voice against the issues.

It is not the habit of only rural people to avoid the problems, but high-class people also don’t show any seriousness towards the issues around us. They discuss topics in their groups and talk big, but they are not showing any care to the problems in reality. Because of unawareness government also delays in their works and doesn’t do much to solve the issues.

Here are some of the problems which all Indians are facing but are not showing any seriousness towards it:

  • Shortage of water:  Indians are facing a scarcity of water for a long time. Not only India but the whole world is dealing with the water crisis. Earth is known as a blue planet because of the 70% of water, but the water is useless for human purposes as it is seawater. Many of the cities of India is facing a water crisis; they even don’t have adequate water to drink. But then also they are wasting water in their daily life. They do not take this problem seriously that if they consume all the water, then the circumstances have been faced by the future generation.
  • Reduction of underground water: One of the significant problems that Indians are not taking seriously is the reduction of underground water. Underground water is reducing day by day rapidly. According to the reports published by NASA, underground water has disappeared from many places. Many districts, cities are declared as a black district due to the lack of underground water. It is one of the ways of water sources through many sectors of India doing their work.  Groundwater is useful for animals and humans as well, but rapid use causes a shortage of water. One of the reasons is the agriculture requirement that causes a decrease in water. There are many ways to solve this crisis, but people are unaware they do nothing to come out from this problem.
  • Viruses: The major problem of Indian is they think that they are unique, and nothing will harm them. You can see that a pandemic Coronavirus has spread all over the world. Every country is facing this problem, and millions of people are infected, and thousands of people have lost their lives. But when this Coronavirus enters India, people think that they are not going to be affected by this virus and will deal with it, and in no time, this virus will be gone. They didn’t take the advice and restrictions put by the government seriously, and now it is a time when Indians are facing this problem, and many Indians have lost their lives. But then also some people think that they can never get infected and don’t follow the rules and restrictions.
  • Corruption: Corruption is the major problem that Indians are not taking seriously. It is a problem that is spread by the people themselves. They are only the reason why corruption has grown its roots in India. To do their work earlier and without any problem, they give bribes. If someone asks for the bribe, no one says anything against it. To bear the wrong things is also illegal, people should raise their voice against it. But they think that what goes on cant be change. And that is the reason our country ranks high in the corruption index.
  • Pollution: Pollution is also the problem in India, which is ignored by the Indian. There are several types of pollution: sound pollution, air pollution, soil pollution, and water pollution. Because of this pollution, lots of people died every year. This pollution causes various diseases like lung infection, heart problems, vision problems, and so on, but people do not take it seriously. Numerous safety measures can be resolved through the pollution problem, but the Indians are not doing anything and think it is a part of their life.
  • Poverty: About two-thirds of the population of India is living in poverty. India is growing its economic rate rapidly but then also facing a big problem of poverty. Most of the Indians don’t get the proper food to eat—thousands of lives lost every year due to poverty. The main reason of increasing poverty is illiteracy, overpopulation, unawareness, and lack of financial resources. In India, rich people are becoming wealthier, and those who are poor are becoming weaker.  The leading cause of poverty is a shortage of jobs, lack of education, social injustice, lack of food, and water. The government provides help to poor and started some yojanas to remove poverty, but the poor people are not getting any advantage. But Indians are not taking the problem seriously. They are living a healthy life without raising their voice against the wrong.
  • Illiteracy: We are facing a big problem that is illiteracy. Most of the Indians are uneducated and unaware of their rights. Around 287 million Indians are illiterate, and that is the reason we Indians lack behind from other countries. Most women remain uneducated in India because there are many orthodox thinking people reside in India who don’t allow girls to study. According to UNESCO reports, 37% of illiterate people reside in India of the world population. The government has taken some measures to solve the problem of illiteracy, but many people don’t give importance to studying. And the question of ignorance is not taking seriously by the Indians.
