The country’s largest Ravan will burn in Chandigarh this time. After nearly 12 hours of effort, 221 feet high Ravana was raised on Thursday. The work of erecting it started at around 6 pm on Wednesday evening. With the help of two cranes, two JCBs and 150 people, the work was completed at 6 pm on Thursday. Tajinder Singh Chauhan, who prepared Ravana, told that Ravana has been prepared in such a way that even if the rain comes on the day of Dussehra, Ravana can be burnt in the evening. Because Ravana’s dress has been prepared by mixing 3 thousand meters of cloth and 2.5 thousand meters of jute. It is constructed in such a way that the rain water will not go inside.
