A vital part of CharterCARE Health Partners system, the St. Joseph Health Center provides comprehensive care to children, adults and families through a network of primary care and specialty clinics. A part of the Lifespan health care system, Hasbro Children’s Hospital is the region’s premiere provider of pediatric clinical care. The hospital offers a broad spectrum of both routine care and specialty programs not available elsewhere. 4.The Miriam Hospital
The Miriam Hospital is a private, not-for-profit hospital at 164 Summit Avenue in Providence, in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. It is a major teaching affiliate of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Extraordinary generosity has been the catalyst for The Miriam Hospital. To fulfill the women’s dream, 450 people joined their cause. The women went door to door, raising $80,000 in just four weeks. Thanks to their efforts, the first Miriam Hospital opened in 1926 with 63 beds and 14 bassinets.
