Our goal at The Gate House is to provide our customers with an affordable and casual dining experience without compromising the quality of ingredients. We believe that food is best in its most natural state, and despite the higher cost, we support humane and organic farm practices by serving cage-free eggs and organic dairy, and we operate 100% on solar and wind power. In the summer, our organic garden provides fresh herbs and many items come from our local farmers at the public market.

- Jines Restaurant
Jines history in the United States started in 1954 when George Gines immigrated from Greece as a 21-year-old. At that time George worked for his Uncles at Critics Ice Cream, where they owned several ice cream stores throughout the Rochester area. In 1961, George transformed the West Main Street location from an ice cream store to a full service restaurant, and that was the birth of their restaurant business.

- Dinosaur Bar-B-Que
The three partners believed that bikers deserve a good plate of food and that the Dinosaur could provide it. For five years, the Dinosaur’s home was the road, where they served good bar-b-que at motorcycle shows, fairs, and festivals throughout the Northeast. Burned out from life on the road, the Dinosaur settled in 1988 in downtown Syracuse, N.Y., as a quick-service lunch/dinner bar-b-que joint. In 1990, the restaurant tripled in size, adding a full bar, full-service dining and live music.
