In 2008, as a motivated but untrained baker, Cary Clifford began sharing her infectious spirit and unforgettable pastries through markets and wholesaling, and quickly garnered a community of like-minded people with a heart for Winston-Salem. By 2011, she opened her first storefront. Camino Bakery is named for the Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage in Spain inspiring self-discovery, contemplation, openness, and community.
