Since 2017, the Sift Gluten Free storefront has been proud to be a dedicated gluten-free bakery in South Minneapolis. Some of our favorite baked goods include cinnamon rolls, donuts, cupcakes and bread, but our menu doesn’t stop there. You can place an order ahead online for same-day pickup, or in person at our bakery counter. Our inventory is updated online the night before each open day around 6 p.m.

It was a trip to France in 2012 that sparked the inception of Black Walnut. Six months later the bakery debuted at the Minneapolis Farmers Market on Nicollet Mall. After a successful market season, the bakery shut and reformed as a weekend pop-up at One on One Bike Studio where customers lined up for bread and pastry. Black Walnut Bakery and Cafe opened its doors on November 1st, 2019.
