Facebook fines up to $ 20 million in this country

Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Authority has imposed a fine of about 16.5 million Turkish liras (20 million 80 thousand dollars) in the data encroachment on Facebook. In September last year, about 3 lakhs of Turkish users were affected by data encroachment.

Due to encrochance, their personal photos were released due to the encroachment. According to the Turkish watchdog, while being in the grip for 12 days in September, Facebook failed to take proper technique and administrative measures.

According to a report, in December Facebook had made a statement that the company has identified a photo API bug, which is allowing the third person to issue personal photos of Facebook users.
