The first location started out of a garage in Division street in Pontiac, IL. After a few years, they moved to their second location on the corner of Ladd and Route 116. In 1989, their two sons, Kent and Kevin joined the dealership full time. Eventually, they ran out of room at their location and moved out to the interstate. They bought 10 acres and built a parts store and 3 garage bays. As time went on, the dealership continued to grow and more land was purchased and additional service bays were added. In 2000, more family was added to the dealership as Ken and Gail’s daughter, Courtney and her husband started working full time. In 2004, the Kafer’s made another investment in their company and built one of the largest showrooms in the country. The 108,000 sq foot showroom allows for over 100 RVs to be displayed in side. The new showroom also has 17 customer orientation bays.
