RGU was founded in 2008 as Rio Grande Urology, P.A. The group was formed through the merging of four urology practices. From the start, our philosophy has been that patients receive better care when there is continuity of care. 2.Maria C. Aloba, M.D.
Dr. Aloba earned her medical degree from the University of the Philippines in 1996. She subsequently completed a residency in internal medicine in 2000 and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology in 2003 at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. Prior to joining Texas Oncology, Dr. Aloba was the medical director of hematology/oncology at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, GA.

3.Juan Herrada, M.D., FACP
Dr. Herrada received his medical degree from the University Complutense de Madrid, Madrid, Spain in 1986. He completed his residency in internal medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas in 1992. Dr. Herrada completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas in 1996.

4.Dr. Stephanie C. Han, Radiation Oncology Specialist
Dr. Han earned her medical degree from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences University of Buffalo. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Millard Filmore Hospital in Buffalo, and completed her residency in radiation oncology at the prestigious Yale-New Haven Hospital. She has more than ten years of experience in treating breast, gastrointestinal, prostate, head and neck and gynecological malignancies. Dr. Han is the author of the chapter on the treatment of vulvar cancer in the book Radiation Oncology: An Evidence-Based Approach which is widely used as a reference book in the practice of radiation oncology. Additionally, Dr. Han has authored and co-authored numerous articles in peer reviewed journals as well as presenting at national conferences.

9.University Breast Care Center
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso) is the only health sciences center along the U.S.-Mexico border that provides the opportunities and environment for direct intellectual and interpersonal exchanges among nursing, medical and graduate research students on one campus.
It is the fourth university in the Texas Tech University System and is comprised of three schools: the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, the Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

The Paul L. Foster School of Medicine is the only medical school on the U.S.-Mexico border and the only medical school in the nation that requires its students to learn Spanish.
