2.Cincinnati School of Music

Joe and Anna opened their music school in 2010 as Backer Piano Studio. Slowly but surely, the student base began to grow as their students told their family and friends about their experience taking lessons. In 2012, they changed the name to Cincinnati School of Music and began hiring many more qualified teachers to join the team. Today, there are 3 bustling locations in Olde Montgomery, Mason and Anderson and nearly 50 teachers for a variety of instruments. The school has also been a Winner of Cincy Magazine Best of Music Instruction since 2015. Hundreds of talented musicians have improved their music skills and learned new techniques as a part of the Cincinnati School of Music.

4.Fairlawn School Of Music

The Fairlawn School of Music, part of the Trillium Schools of Music family, opened in the spring of 2011.

The school, founded by local musicians studying at the University of Akron, wanted to offer a personalized and unique option for music instruction in the area.

5.Avon School of Music

Since 1976, Mahlon Ray has served our community by offering quality pianos for sale and lease.  In 2018, the company was purchased by his long-time co-worker, Alle Schwartz.
