2. Escorts Library

he Escorts Library was established in the year 1978 to cater to the needs of the Escorts Research and Development Centre, Faridabad, India. Since then the library has grown to a collection of more than 9000 records, which meets the learning and research needs of the entire Escorts Group. In September 2011, the Escorts Library installed VIRTUA, the Integrated Library Management System, from VTLS Inc., USA, and automated its library operations. January 2014, was yet another milestone which saw the creation of the eLearning Centre.

4. Police Public Library

The library, which started as part of Shikhar NGO and Jamia Nagar Police was to run in the premises in the police station itself. In the library, currently about more than 2000 books available,including literature, competitive books, encyclopedia, fiction,non-fiction, children’s literature and reference books at the library. More than 10 newspapers in Hindi, Urdu and English are also available every day for readers. The library is managed by Shikhar NGO staff. There is no membership fee to use the library.
