2. Central Library, IIT Delhi

The Library subscribes to 690 current journals. The Library has a rich collection of books on science and technology including chemistry, mathematics, physics, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science, electrical and electronics engineering, textile engineering, biochemical and biomedical engineering. 3. Central Secretariat Library

The Central Secretariat Library (CSL) is one of the oldest libraries of the Government of India and comes under Ministry of Culture. It dates back to 1891 when the Imperial Secretariat Library was established in Kolkata (Calcutta). With the shifting of the Capital, the Library was also moved to Delhi and since 1969 it is housed in G-Wing of the Shastri Bhawan. In terms of size of collection 8,50,000 volumes (print or non-print) , it is the second largest Central Government library after the National Library, Kolkata. CSL has a text book library located at R.K. Puram, New Delhi.

8. Parliament Library

It was only after the Constituent Assembly of India undertook drafting of a new Constitution for independent India that the demands for the library started multiplying and in pursuance to this an independent and comprehensive Library service was envisioned. 10. AHIMSA LIBRARY

Ahimsa Library is run under the auspices of VISHWA AHIMSA SANGH, a charitable institution, founded by the prominent Jain saint His Holiness Acharya Sushil Kumarji Maharaj. It provides air-conditioned, spacious, clean, peaceful and congenial atmosphere, with free Wi-fi, to the aspiring Civil Servants and those, who are preparing other competitive examinations. It is open from 8 am till midnight. It is run on recommended donations. Free Yoga and Meditation classes are held from time to time. For the benefit of the students, Acharya Sushil Bhojanshala provides pure desi ghee vegetarian meals and snacks from 8 am to 10 pm at most affordable rates.
