What is physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a branch of medical science. Courses that can take admission
In physiotherapy, you can enroll in courses ranging from diploma, bachelor, pg, mphil and phd. The Bachelor level course is called BPT i.e. Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Curriculum of course is usually around four and a half years. It consists of the last six months of internships. MPT i.e. Master of Physiotherapy, in this course of two years, you can gain expertise from the equivalent subject. Specialization can also be done in neurological physiotherapy, pediatric physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, orthropodic physiotherapy, opsoci physiotherapy, postoperative physiotherapy, cardiovascular physiotherapy etc.
To get admission in physiotherapy courses, you can choose colleges from both government and private. To get admission in Government colleges, you will have to qualify for the state or central level entrance exam. Some colleges take direct admission in private colleges and some admission students take admission.
Course fee
The fees for physiotherapy courses vary from Rs 30,000 to university rules. Some universities also offer scholarships on the basis of merit. Apart from this, there are private institutes that provide scholarships for education.
