2. Recipes Bakery

Jolly Brothers Catering, in conjunction with the City Parks and Recreation Department, Neighborhood and Outreach Services and Healthy Options for Teens, sponsors a teen culinary arts program: “Introduction to the Culinary Arts”. The program is aimed at junior and senior high school students as a way of providing culinary arts and food management experience. No prior knowledge of the food industry is required. In fact, most students come into the program having a very limited education of food.

8. Anna’s Marketplace Bakery

Deborah Weber and Lisa Boelter bought Anna’s Bakery when they were in their early twenties. Now, a few years later (OK, more than a few), they own and manage one of the most successful and oldest bakery in the Santa Barbara and Goleta area. They are not absentee owners.
