1. Gideon’s Bakehouse

In his never-ending search for baking inspiration, Steve Lewis, the bakery creator, purchased what he thought was an antique cookbook published in 1898. To his surprise, the margins were filled with faded notes and doodles from what appeared to be a young boy who had dreams of becoming a baker. The name written at the back of the book was “Gideon,” and Steve decided to fulfill that child’s wishes with the name Gideon’s Bakehouse™.

3. Raglan Road Irish Pub

Raglan Road is one of the best-known streets in Dublin, Ireland. It’s a beautifully leafy, elegantly quiet road lined with magnificent Georgian houses. But that’s not what made it famous. It was a great day when in The Bailey pub in Dublin when a group of musicians and poets were playing, singing and reciting. Amongst them were one of Ireland’s greatest poets, Patrick Kavenagh and one of our finest singers, Luke Kelly.
