California Dance Institute was founded in 2001 by Joffrey Ballet principal dancer Carole Valleskey. CDI was founded as a West Coast affiliate of Jacques d’Amboise’s National Dance Institute. CDI teachers have all been trained in the rigorous NDI teaching methodology.

3.Studio 4 School of Dance
Mrs. Lee founded Studio 4 Dance Theater in 2009, she is the Artistic Director, produces and directs The Nutcracker Ballet each year and creates new works for the company for their spring showcases. 4.California DanceArts & California Contemporary Ballet
Established in 1987, by Aerin Holt, for the purpose of grooming and nurturing students in the traditions of artistic theatrical performance, classical and modern ballet. The school’s humble beginning near Hollywood California, offered private and semi-private lessons to Los Angeles area dancers who desired high caliber training under the name Dance Now Academy. The school also offered performance and stage presence training to Hollywood movie industry dance, acting and musical artists. In order to accommodate its growing student roster, the academy moved in 1998 first to Glendale, California and then to its current multi-classroom location in the beautiful Foothill community of La Cañada Flintridge, California and became California DanceArts.

5.Northern California Dance Conservatory
NCDC is a 9,500 square foot studio space divided into 5 large state of the art studios. A good training space is critical for the success of any dancer. The studios are equipped with large open spaces, full sized mirrors, premium sound systems and professional sprung raised floors; which is crucial for injury prevention. NCDC offers a homework area for students and a comfortable reception area for parents to wait for the younger dancers. NCDC is the home of Roseville’s first black box theater that allows students the opportunities to perform in an intimate, professional setting. NCDC’s theater is available for rental.

6.California Conservatory of Performing Arts
Established in 2013, CCPA opened its doors to the city of Chatsworth to grow and support their students to live out their dreams of dance. While many students have gone onto college dance teams and professional venues, it is the “takes a village” attitude that has allowed for this studio to thrive. Erena Ishii Shevchuk has received City Commendation issued by The San Jose City Council in 2015, after receiving 1st place Classical and 1st place in character at The International Competition DANCE GRAND PRIX “ITALIA”. She has also received 1st place in character dance at the Hungarian National Ballet Summer International. Mrs. Shevchuk has attended many well known school such San Francisco Ballet, Ballet San Jose, Ballet International de Caracas, Nina Novak Academy, and Asami Maki Ballet School. Ms. Erena is trained in Balanchine, Cecchetti, and Bournaville.
