I would run the other way from midtown chimney sweeping! First of all, they didn’t actually sweep my chimney. See the attached pictures from another chimney sweeping company that came out and did it right. The only reason i found this out, i called in another chimney company to look at the repairs (midtown sent me after several calls and a month later). The other company asked if i was sure it actually got cleaned (the firebox and smoke chamber were not touched)? Not to mention, the other company told me all of the chimney repairs midtown wanted me to repair were not necessary. In speaking with midtown, they are “standing by their technician” and won’t give a refund. Save yourself the time, headache, and money and find someone else to clean your chimney. These guys are all about the quick buck $$$ and not worried about the safety of you and your family.
