I was on a budget, but surely there would be plenty of stores that would cater to that, seeing that Provo is a college town! I soon became discouraged when I found that even the sale or clearance racks were way outside of what I could afford. I tried places where people sold used dresses out of their homes, but the selection was so small, I could not find something that flattered my body. In the end, I hired a lady I knew from my hometown to make my dress from scratch.
