3.Arkansas Craft School
The Arkansas Craft School (ACS) is a nonprofit (501c3) organization dedicated to the growth, appreciation, and instruction of arts and crafts. Formed in 2009, the ACS envisions a vibrant, creative community that inspires a life affirming appreciation of and support for the arts. In partnership with Ozarka College and its Mountain View campus, ACS offers Continuing Education Credits for classes attended. Although its history envelops the crafts of the Ozark Mountains, the ACS has grown to encompass many styles of art and craft, both modern and traditional.

Jonesboro School of Art is owned and operated by award winning portrait artist, Tanya Eddy. JSA is an after school art program, offering art instruction for students Kindergarten through High School. All students are exposed to art history through the study of works by both the great masters and modern day artists. Younger students are introduced to General Art classes, which will develop their skills for the older, advanced classes. 6.Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School
Parkview is Arkansas’ first and only complete interdistrict magnet high school. It was created as part of the desegregation settlement as a way to attract students to the area to better racially balance the school. One hundred percent of the students assigned to Parkview will be assigned to a magnet area in science, choral music, orchestra, band, visual arts, drama, or dance. Students in their chosen magnet area must take two classes in that area each year in addition to the regular curriculum outlined by the state department of education.
