Our Board of Directors is comprised of community members who care deeply about Adopt’s mission. Our Board Members contribute time, talent, and financial support to ensure Adopt’s programs run smoothly. We pride ourselves on the diversity of lived experiences our Board Members bring to their work with Adopt. Our Board currently includes members who bring perspectives as adoptive parents, adoptees, and birth/first family members.

HIC has been placing children with loving parents since 1975. From that year through 1990, the agency placed over 2,000 Korean orphans into permanent homes. Beginning in 1991, HIC was among the first nonprofit adoption agencies to offer programs focusing on Russian and Chinese orphans.
Our commitment to adoption and children has sent us around the world, providing humanitarian aid and child placement services.

3.LDS Family Services
The decision to adopt a child is exciting, but navigating the process of adoption can be difficult and overwhelming. If you are a couple living in the United States and are interested in adopting, Family Services can help. Although we do not facilitate adoptions, Family Services can provide consultation and referral services to prospective adoptive parents who are living in the United States. During a consultation, you can receive general information about adoption. You might also receive referrals to community resources that can provide legal help, home study services, placement services, and other support during the adoption process.
