Welcome to the website of UUM Kuala Lumpur and thank you for your interest to the only Eminent… Universiti Utara Malaysia Kuala Lumpur (UUMKL) is UUM’s first branch campus that is strategically located near Kampung Baru and Chow Kit road. Started off as a learning centre in 2006, UUMKL was upgraded into becoming a branch campus in 2017. Tapping on UUM’s experience and strong brand name, as well as UUM’s international accolades and accreditations, UUMKL offers post-graduate programmes in various fields – Management, Human Resource Management, Finance, Islamic Finance and Banking, Occupational Safety and Health Management, Managerial Communication, Counselling, Social Work, Decision Science, Correctional Science, Journalism, Education, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Human Resource Law, Public Management and International Business. Currently, UUMKL has 20 resident faculty members from various disciplines and is supported by faculty members from UUM main campus and adjunct professors from other institutions, both locally and abroad.
Our post-graduate programmes are popular among working executives as classes are conducted on the weekends. Full-time programmes are also available for those who intend to embark on a fast track.
As much as possible, our faculty members utilise the latest technology in teaching and incorporate case studies so as to make the learning not only effective but also vibrant with discussion of real problems and cases. This not only allows for sharing of knowledge and experience but also the opportunity to network with colleagues from different organisations.

Besides post-graduate programmes, UUMKL conducts training and executive development programmes in the areas of Strategic Management, Leadership, Supply Chain, Communication, Finance, Islamic Banking and many others. Every individual has the ability to attain excellence through the transfer of knowledge and assimilation of moral values so as to become professional graduates capable of developing knowledge, self, society and nation The Tombak Agung consists of a pair of long lances, one with a bamboo leaf-shaped blade, another with a five-curved blade which represent religion, knowledge and personality values as well as the sovereignty of the Malay society and the nation. The overall motif on the shaft of the spear is adapted from a design of a dome to symbolise UiTM as a font of knowledge, disseminating and receiving knowledge according to the law of knowledge towards creating the good and banishing the evil based on religious teachings particularly among the undergraduates, all for the religion, the race and the nation.
