Founded by Mr. Siah Moh Hui in December 1982, the first Holi Fashion (now known as Holi Department Store) began it’s operations in Katong Shopping Centre. As a fashion designer himself, his vision expresses the fusion of fine art and fashion. Business flourish when local and overseas celebrities frequent his shop. However, things has changed since the year 2003 during the SARS outbreak. Mr Siah suffered a setback from his retail sales as it plummeted with other investments.
The company quickly changed it’s direction and business plan. Seeing the demand for more foreign labours and the developments of more foreign workers dormitory. The company has diverse it’s interest from selling high-end products to provide reasonably priced apparels to the foreign workers instead.
