Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad (CIMA), a wholly owned subsidiary of UEM Group Berhad, is one of the leading cement manufacturers in Malaysia. It is well known for producing and distributing high quality cement, ready mixed concrete and related products since 1975.

5.The Cement & Concrete Association of Malaysia (C&CA)

6.Tasek Corporation Berhad (TCB)
Established to answer the nation’s demand for cement, Tasek Corporation Berhad was incorporated in 1962 as Tasek Cement Limited. It commenced cement production in 1964 with an annual rated production capacity of 250,000 tonnes at its present plant in the Tasek Industrial Estate, Ipoh against the backdrop of scenic limestone hills and excellent infrastructure.
Since then, Tasek had embarked on a series of multi-million ringgit expansions in tandem with the country’s development, culminating in the latest upgrading of technologies designed to produce up to 2.3 million tonnes of clinker per year efficiently.

8.Sabah Cement Industry Sdn Bhd
Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn.Bhd (CIS) was incorporated in 1982 with the objective of setting up a clinker grinding plant at Sepanggar Bay to manufacture ordinary Portland cement for Sabah market consumption. CIS is a joint-venture entity between SEDCO which hold 50.14%, SPA hold 19.86%. The balance of 30% by Tasek Corporation Berhad a public listed company with long established business in the manufacturing of cement in Malaysia.
CIS commenced commercial production in August 1986 with a capacity of 500,000 metric tones (MT) per annum. Plant production capacity was expanded from 500,000 MT to 900,000 MT in 1998 with installation of the pre-grinding system. In February 2001, CIS was granted ISO 9000:1994 Quality Management System certification for the manufacture of ordinary Portland cement by Llyod’s Register Quality Assurance.

9.MTC Manufacturer Sdn Bhd
MTC Manufacturer Sdn Bhd has been established since 2009. We are specializing in the production of superior cement-based products and construction materials. Our main products are ranging from water base adhesive, tile adhesive materials, base coat, skim coat, block plaster mortar, floor render mortar, premix sand mortar, cement additive, pervious concrete and many other cement based products.
In Perak state, we are one of the largest local dry mix plants and occupy approximate 80% of the market share. Our products are also supplying to other states and projects, such as Star Residence in Kuala Lumpur, GM Klang Wholesale City in Klang, Forest City in Johor Bharu, The Light Collection 3 in Penang, cement additives to Bintulu and many more.
MTC’s production plant was set up and built on 3 acres of land. The plot is located in the heart of limestone quarries and hills of Simpang Pulai, Ipoh. In 2015, MTC added another plant at the same location with a space of more than 42,000 sq/ft. With more space came the addition of higher production output machinery and equipment to cater to the higher market demand.
