7. Lightship 95 Recording Studio – formerly Soup Studios
Once a  beacon in treacherous seas, Lightship 95 is now securely moored at Trinity Buoy Wharf and converted into a first-class London recording studio. It’s generously sized 10m x 5m live room, dedicated vocal booth, huge airconditioned and portholed control room and extensive acoustic treatment built deep in its steel hull never fails to impress. The space is extremely flexible – capable of accommodating anything from expansive jazz ensembles through delicate string sessions to thunderously heavy rock and metal. 24 tracks of 2” tape, and 40 channels of I/O to Pro Tools, along with a Calrec S2 console and a selection of classic outboard provide ample tracking options for any session, while our unique collection of vintage instruments is always available to provide an extra musical dimension.
