Action for Autism is a not for profit organization that pioneered the autism movement in South Asia, and strives to access the rights of individuals with autism and their families. "Samarpan" has the primary objective of Empowering Mentally and other handicapped through economic rehabilitation approach & advance technologies. It works for Mentally Retarded and other handicapped and destitute children. Samarpan is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization.

The Special Child Trust launched the Autism Centre for Excellence in 2014, to create a program for children on the Autism Spectrum from ages ranging from 2 to 17 years. The program is the first of its kind in India, is completely data-driven and is based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
