Netflix is a very popular platform for video streaming in India. Netflix launched the mobile only plan in India a few months ago, which also received good response from the company. Now the company is testing some more new plans, which can give up to 50 percent discount to Netflix users.
Actually, Netflix is working on long term subscription plans. These plans will be for three months, six months and 12 months and testing is on. However, testing of these new plans is also on the mobile Netflix app of some selected users. With the help of these long term subscriptions, users will be able to save 20 to 50% or say that they will get a discount.
According to Netflix, as always, this is a test and these plans will be brought only when most people find them useful. The company believes that it may be flexible for members to subscribe for a few months at a time.
The company is testing on these plans
The first of the three plans that the company is testing is three months, priced at Rs 1,919. Its regular premium subscription is Rs 2,397. At the same time, the second is a 6-month plan which is being tested for Rs 3,359 with a discount of up to 30 percent. Its regular price is Rs 4,794. Apart from this, there is a third 12-month plan which is being tested for Rs 4,799 with a discount of 50 percent. Its regular price can be Rs 799 per month i.e. Rs 9,588 per year.
