Krav Maga is a Hebrew phrase meaning "Contact Combat". Krav Maga was initially developed as a self- defense system for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), focusing on counter-attack and threat neutralization strategies that are practical and efficient. Krav Maga began to spread from Israel in the early 1980s, becoming part of tactical self-defense training for police, security and military in nations across the world such as FBI, CIA, Navy seals, RAW, Delhi Police etc. It's a combination of all the martial arts and focusing on street fighting/self defense The skills taught in Krav Maga have been specifically adapted to respond to real-world threats. Techniques are selected for efficiency and refined when necessary; and have been proven to work in a variety of situations, including on the streets and in combat zones as well as to suit people of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels. Each class is 1.5 hours long, which includes physical fitness, kickboxing, combat training and Krav Maga technique training. In each class you shall learn defense against a variety of situations such as: punches, chokes, bear hugs, headlocks, and weapons, eg : if some is trying to stab you with a knife or someon puts a gun on your head You'll learn ground fighting skills and attain peak, physical conditioning.
