Born and brought up in India, there was once a man who was bored with the street food served here. The khatta-meetha, teekha-chatpata aspect was not exciting enough for him. It was done to death. He wanted to be the Rajnikanth of street food - create something so yummy and sensational - that people wouldn't stop talking about it. He thought and thought. Scribbled and scribbled. Pondered night after night. And then finally, when his mother brought home a flavorful plate of chaat, he had an idea. He too had to do something different. A rare, smart thing that no one could think of.

So, he sniffed out the freshest of tomatoes, the cheesiest of cheese, the most divine chocolate sauces, the freshest of paneer, mushrooms, potatoes and lots of magical toppings and laid them out on hot waffles. The world caught wind of this and arrived at his little kiosk to believe it with their own eyes.

Oh yes. It was true. He indeed was making waffles with endless toppings! The men whistled as he poured some Belgian chocolate sauce on one, the school girls shrieked when he added extra cheese, the teenagers squealed when they saw more mushrooms, the corporates clapped when they saw him add paneer. It was as good as a magic show.

And that's how the Waffle Wallah became the local hero of gourmet food. As he tossed out his wonderful waffles in the most exotic way and played his little horn, the world couldn't stop cheering for him
