The story started sometime late in 2012 when a ‘unique’ cake had to be sent to friend in Bangalore and we were unable to find it. Finally, a usual chocolate vanilla cake was sent as there were not many options available. We then started speaking to a couple of friends. A friend is allergic to gluten and she couldn’t have a cake on her birthday as she didn’t know if anyone in Delhi does yummy gluten-free cakes. Even sugar-free cakes and vegan cakes are not available off the shelf. Most of us have faced this problem when we want to have something sweet but just don’t want the usual stuff. We don’t know where to go.
