The Company Texas was founded in Odense, Denmark in 1960 by Andreas Petersen; the son of a farmer from the Southern part of Denmark.As a young man Andreas Petersen visited the state of Texas in the USA. Here he became acquainted with the “Chain Saw”which he then introduced into Denmark and revolutionized the forestry industry – it was an instant success and this is the reason for the name of the Company –TEXAS.
