SCPL was established in the year 1960 and main activity was metal castings. SCPL was taken over in the year 1976 by the present management and since then the business diversified to Design, Development, Manufacture and Sale of Special Application Vehicles, Rail Wagons and Medium & Heavy Fabrication.
SCPL manufacture Truck Fire Fighting, Fire Tender, Water Tender, Foam Tender, DCP Tender, Rescue Tender, Combine Foam Tender, Crash Fire Tender, Rapid International Vehicle, Water Cannon, Trailer Fire Pump, Multi-Purpose Fire tender under the brand name of "PYROSAFETY" strong> and all Special Application Vehicles viz. Aircraft Refueller, Hydrant Dispenser, Mobile Dispensing Unit, Mechanical runway Sweeper in addition to Lifting Beams, Launching Platforms, Sudan Pump and other Medium and Heavy fabrication under the brand name of "Standard Castings" .
