Purnashilpam (meaning filled with all the art forms) is truly an amalgamation of arts. It mainly aims to portray our culture, traditions, civilization, the saints and reformers of our region and the nation at large, in a unique way that can be more enjoyable to the art lovers throughout the globe.

In short, Purnashilpam is a journey of unified artistic forms which aims at sharing positivity with the society. From the pages of history to the untold stories of the common man, Purnashilpam will encompass one and all.

Purnashilpam is an art event that combines various art forms. It is a center for various performing arts such as fine arts, music, drama and others. It has its headofficeuarters and factory at Belthala, Guwahati.

Fine art

Sculpture- Various sculptures are made in the Purnashilpaam factory. Apart from metal sculptures, sculptures are made to order in various mediums like fiberglass, cement, wood, wax, silicone, thermocol, rubber etc. Many sculptures and relief sculptures made in Purnashilpa have already been established in Assam and North East.

Artwork for beautification- The team of artists at Purnashilpam has also been painting beautiful walls as per the orders of people in various gardens, archways, rooms of private houses, boundary walls etc.

Construction of Mementos –

Mementos and awards are made at Purnashilpaam’s factory as required for various meetings and institutions. These mements are made of M, D, F board, fiber glass, bamboo- wood etc.

Many of the handicrafts are made with patterns of Assamese national life. There are many different types of crafts in Assam, including drums and khols, horned elephants, Rangghar, Karengghar, Shiv Daul, Kamakhya Temple, Mahapurushia Guru Asana.

Hand-footprint reception-

Purnashilpam artists have taken the lead in collecting hand and footprints from a person’s body during his lifetime or after his death. Similarly, fingerprints of their children have been collected at the request of many parents. Purnashilpam has already collected the fingerprints of various famous personalities including former Chief Minister of Assam, late Tarun Gogoi and popular artist Zubeen Garg.

Sand Animation-

Diganta Madhav Goswami, the chief artist of Purnashilpaam, has been practicing sand animation for the past 17 years. The artist has already performed the sand animation live at various events. Diganta Madhav has also shot sand animation for various videos, documentaries, films etc. Among them, Diganta Madhav’s sand animation in Utpal Barpujari’s internationally acclaimed film Ishu is an excellent performance

Prosthetic make-up-

Purnashilpam has made a beautiful addition to the Assamese film industry with prosthetic make-up. Realistic make-up feels such as zombies, ghosts or physical defects seen in foreign movies, including cuts, burns, etc. are now available here. The Purnashilpam family has already done prosthetic make-up for several Assamese and North Eastern language films.

Purnashilpam also has a prosthetic make-up institute called Purnashilpam Prosthetics, where many trainees from Guwahati, Shillong, Manipur etc. are already taking training.
