Philadelphia Technician Training (PTTI) is a post-secondary institution that seeks to create a demanding technology-based learning environment (that is instructor-led and hands-on). It encourages high expectations for success through developmentally appropriate technical instruction that considers individual differences and learning preferences to help students acquire technical skills and find long-term employment in a variety of industries, including engineering, The Pennsylvania STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Initiative has a similar vision to PTTI, trade schools for adults near you, in that it seeks to significantly increase the proportion of students (particularly females, underrepresented minorities, and underrepresented students) who pursue STEM-related careers in technology-growing fields.
