NEPAL OVERVIEW:

Nepal’s major tourist activities include wilderness and adventure activities such as mountain biking, bungee jumping, rock climbing and mountain climbing, trekking, hiking, bird watching, mountain flights, ultralight aircraft flights, paragliding and hot air ballooning over the mountains of the Himalaya, hiking and mountain biking, exploring the waterways by raft, kayak or canoe and jungle safaris especially in the Terai region.

With 15 National & Wildlife Parks (two are UNESCO Heritage sites including Pashupatinath / Lumbini / Everest National Park / Swyambhunath / Bouddhanath / Bhaktapur) Nepal is one of the last places on earth you can spot the Asiatic rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal Tiger.

ITINERARY

DAY 01: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport

· Arrival at Int’l/Dom Airport, Greet & Meet by official representative.

· Then, transfer to your pre-booked hotel in Kathmandu.

· Evening: Pashupatinath Aarati

· Rest & Night stay.

· Explore the surrounding on your own.

DAY 2: FULL DAY KATHMANDU SIGHT SEEING

Optional: Mt Everest Flight in the Morning at 6 AM for an hr (Cost Exclusive)

- Pashupatinath Temple- Pashupatinath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Pashupati, and is located in Kathmandu, Nepal near the Bagmati River. This is currently the largest temple in the world as well as one of the Oldest Temple. This temple was classified as a World Heritage Site in 1979.

- Bouddhanath Stupa: The first stupa at Boudhanath was built sometime after AD 600, when the Tibetan king, Songtsen Gampo, converted to Buddhism. In terms of grace and purity of line, no other stupa in Nepal comes close to Boudhanath. From its whitewashed dome to its gilded tower painted with the all-seeing eyes of the Buddha, the monument is perfectly proportioned. Join the Tibetan pilgrims on their morning and evening koras (circumambulations) for the best atmosphere.

- Gueshwori Devi: Guhyeshwari Temple, also spelled Guheswari or Guhjeshwari, is one of the revered holy temples in Kathmandu, Nepal. This temple is dedicated to Guhyeshwari or Adi Shakti. The temple is also a Shakti Peetha and it's about 1 km east of Pashupatinath Temple and is located on the southern bank of the Bagmati River.

- Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu Durbar Square is located in front of the old royal palace of the former Kathmandu Kingdom and is one of three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

- Overnight at Kathmandu.

DAY 3: KATHMANDU TO CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (Distance: 186 kms. / Driving Time: 6 hrs.)

- Early morning, enjoy the views of sunrise over the mountain.

- After breakfast, you will be transferred to Chitwan.

- On arrival refreshment drink

- Elephant breeding centre visit.

- Village Walk and Sunset View nearby Rapti River

- Evening Cultural Show (Tharu Community)

- Overnight stay in Chitwan National Park.

DAY 4: DRIVE TO POKHARA

Jeep Safari. An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home

After having breakfast, we will start our Drive to Pokhara.

Arrival at Pokhara in the evening and transfer to hotel. Free time on your own.

DAY 5: FULL DAY POKHARA

Early morning, drive to:

● Sarangkot – Sunrise view Point

● Bindabasini Temple – Durga Hindu Temple

Return back to hotel. Breakfast, proceed for a half day city tour of Pokhara including:

● Dave’s fall- Locally known as Patale Chhango & famous the stream

● Gupteswor Cave: 3 Km long cave with statue of Lord Shiva

● Seti River: river has carved a deep, narrow chasm through the middle of town, turning the water

milky white in the process.

● International Mountain Museum: records, documents and exhibits the past and present

developments related to mountain and mountaineering around the world.

● Enjoy boating on Fewa lake & Tal Barahai (Optional): second largest lake in the kingdom & temple

situated in middle of the lake devoted to female Shakti.

Rest of the day free at leisure.

DAY 06: DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU

Breakfast & drive back to Kathmandu.

Then, drive to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel & rest.

DAY 07: KATHMANDU DEPARTURE

After breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu airport for final departure.
