Born in New Delhi, she completed all of her high school education in India. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from University at Albany, SUNY, New York with a Major in Psychology & a minor in Women’s Studies & Education, & a Masters in Applied Psychology from New York University, Manhattan. She has worked at the Employment Program for Recovered Addicts in Manhattan, in the capacity of a Vocational Counsellor. After coming back to India, she started her private practice along side working in the Tele-mental health sector. Karma Center for Counselling & Wellbeing is an effort to expand on her private practice so as to cater to a larger section of individuals/populations in need or those that will benefit from the process of counselling. She is actively passionate about Sexuality, LGBTQIA+ mental health (aka human rights) and wellbeing and hopes that there will be many more queer affirmative counselling (and educational) centers such as ours in Delhi.
