Dr. Chandresh Parekh is India’s leading Squint Specialist & Ophthalmologist with a private practice in Mumbai since the past 33 years. He completed his M.B.B.S and M.S. (Ophthalmology) from K.E.M Hospital, Mumbai, a premier medical college in India.

Dr. Parekh started his private practice in 1987, and was one of the first few ophthalmologists in India to specialise exclusively in squint. Throughout his career, Dr. Parekh has treated patients from all walks of life and across all ages –  his youngest surgical patient is 6 months old while his eldest is 80 years old. 

Typically, he sees about 75+ patients in a week, who come from all over Mumbai, India and even different parts of the world. In fact, about 20% of his patients are from outside Mumbai, while 15% are from outside India! Of course, his best patients are his fellow eye doctors and peers, for whom he is the doctor of choice when it comes to treating their loved ones. 

Given his clinical experience and training, he is routinely invited to deliver guest lectures in top government medical colleges across India. He has also been a speaker and presenter at prestigious medical conferences hosted by Bombay Ophthalmologists’ Association.  

One the personal front, Dr. Parekh is a skilled badminton player, a budding Casio player, an avid traveller, an enthusiastic dog lover and loves being around children!
