With declades of surgical experience; Dr Vinay Kumar Shaw is an accomplished and well trained laparoscopic, gastrointestinal and bariatric surgeon and presently the lead and Senior Consultant in the Dept. of GI, Minimal Access and Bariatric Surgery, Medeor Hospital,Delhi . He also has vast experience of more than three years at Medanta Medicity where he was part of the surgical team and performed all major GI, Oncological, MIS and bariatric procedures with excellent results.

Dr Shaw did his Master’s degree from GMCH and followed it with further training in laparoscopic surgery at Institute of Minimal Invasive Surgery, AMRI, Kolkata. He completed his senior residency with teaching experience of three years at VMMC and Safdarjang Hospital which is one of the largest tertiary level multi-disciplinary healthcare institutions in this part of the World. He has keen interests in Minimal Access Surgery and also received training at South Korea.
Dr Shaw has several national and international presentations to his credit and has also been invited as faculty at medical conferences. He was awarded at the prestigious world congress IASGO held at Seoul and also presented an oral video at the University of Lyon, France.He has pioneered a safe technique for Lap Cholecystectomy and presented it at the prestigious National IASG meeting held at AIIMS, New Delhi ..
