Dr. Sanjiv Saigal has worked for over 15 years in the field of liver transplantation and has been instrumental in establishing the field of Liver Transplantation in India. He has spearheaded the Medical Team of liver transplantation in the largest liver transplant program in this country for over a decade now. Since his work in liver transplantation at the King's College Hospital, London over a decade back, he has now an experience in dealing with more than 1500 liver transplants, including both cadaver and living donor liver transplants. He is presently the Director and Head of Transplant Hepatology at Medanta The Medicity, Gurgaon which is the busiest Transplant Hepatology Unit in India performing about 25 liver transplants every month with a success rate of over 90%
