I took up the branch of Medical Oncology with an aim to provide holistic care to the patients. Many of the times, we try to treat and cure the patients often forgetting the healing part. Also, important is to take into consideration the goals, expectations and risk-benefit ratio of every intervention on the individual basis. I have a similar degree of inclination for academic teaching, research, and patient care.
