At SSB the candidates are tested by foolproof methods, over a number of scientifically designed psychological test, GTO tasks and personal interview. The candidates are assessed by their performance on various tasks. The performance of a candidate may be hampered due to some of the following factors:- Wrong Guidance and incorrect information. Fear of unknown and inhibition. Not being able to express one’s ideas properly. Shyness in group Lack of self confidence. Inferiority Complex due to educational/family background or environmental factors.
