It all started 4 years back when we were executing Construction Projects with various Government and Private Organisations. We realised that we couldn’t keep up with the day to day Documentation. We had no real-time updates of basic and most important things like materials. Drawings were revised on a frequent basis. My engineers who were executing the Drawings didn't even know what drawing revisions were they using. During Billing, we didn't have the necessary documents in place if the Client asked for documents of any previous bills. Everything was being managed in registers. Our problems were becoming progressively magnified. We thought that all our problems would diminish if all the data was managed in one place.

We needed a Project Management Solution. But we didn't have the resources or funds to execute an ERP in our Construction Company as every ERP we looked out for was pretty expensive (upwards of 10 lacs). Hence, we seized the opportunity to create a better process for Small and Medium Scale Contractors, Consultants, Architects, Interior designers to manage their Projects. Cappiyo was the end result with the idea that it could end the chaos of Project Management and create rewarding experiences for everybody in the Construction Industry.
