Her father ran a re-upholstery business out of their garage and taught her tips and tricks that laid the foundation for her sewing skills. Growing up it was always more of a hobby for her, such as making her own prom dress and Halloween costumes for her kids. However, in 1989 Marcella began her journey into the world of bridal, designing wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses for friends and acquaintances; from there Marcella’s Bridal was born. For ten years she made custom dresses out of her home while raising her children. As her kids grew, so did the business and in 1999 Marcella’s Bridal opened its first brick and mortar store in north Spokane. When the new store opened, Marcella’s husband Craig and daughter Kassi, joined the family business. In 2007 we outgrew our original location and moved to our current home in downtown Spokane making us centrally located for all of our brides coming from near and far.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
