The app has been in the news for the wrong reasons for a while now. Despite enjoying a loyal following of millions of fans across the globe, TikTok\u00a0has faced its fair share of criticism, and a seemingly endless stream of controversies has ensured that there have been quite a few calls for it to be banned — \u00a0calls that appear to have been answered with the Madras High Court banning the app within the country.<\/span><\/p>\n Also According to ARY News,\u00a0TikTok<\/strong>\u00a0is about to be banned in Pakistan and from 10th, January\u00a02019\u00a0TikTok Pakistan<\/strong>\u00a0will be completely closed. This news has come as a result of a complaint\u00a0filed by a Pakistani residing in Nowshera regarding the social media application\u00a0TikTok<\/strong>. The complaint was filed on the\u00a0Prime Minister Imran Khan\u2019s Citizen Portal App terming the TikTok app as a hazard for Pakistan so it should be blocked.<\/span><\/p>\n Tik-Tok is a social media application through which smartphone users can create and share small videos (up to 15 seconds).<\/span><\/p>\n ‘Bite Dance’ is its owned company which launched ‘Tic-Talk’ in China in September, 2016. The popularity of ‘Tic-talk’ grew rapidly in 2018 and in October 2018, it became the most downloaded app in the US.<\/span><\/p>\n Tic-talk on Google Play Store has been introduced by saying ‘Short videos for you’ (small video for you).<\/span><\/p>\n Alex Zhu<\/b>, co-founder of Musical.ly and senior VP of TikTok, said in a statement Founding. Musical.ly Inc. was founded by longtime friends\u00a0Alex Zhu<\/em>\u00a0and Luyu Yang in Shanghai, China.
