    IIMB Library is housed in an independent building of 55000 Sq Ft. spread across four levels abutting the amphitheatre. Its collection comprises predominantly literature on Business, Management, and the allied areas. Resource development policies and services are mandated by Institute’s teaching; research and learning objectives. All house-keeping operations are automated using State – of \u2013 the – art library management system. Its electronic collection comprises about 101 resources accessible 24 x 7 on and off campus to its faculty, research scholars, and students. Computing facilities, access to resources in the Data centre, and electronic content is for the IIMB community only.     1. JRD Tata Memorial Library<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The J.R.D. Tata Memorial Library (JRDTML) completed its centenary year of establishment in 2011. Started in 1911, the JRDTML was one of the earliest central facilities to have been started by the Indian Institute of Science for teaching and research. Initially, the JRDTML was housed in the majestic main building. The JRDTML moved into the present premises in January 1965, built out of grants provided by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in commemoration of the golden jubilee celebrations of the Indian Institute of Science in 1959. In 1995, the library was renamed as “J.R.D. Tata Memorial Library”. The JRDTML is centrally located and its total area measures more than 54,000 sq. ft.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

            1. NIMHANS Library<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              The Library and Information Centre shifted to its new building in the year 1990. The Centre was upgraded as a National Neuroscience Information Centre (NNIC) with generous contribution from Department of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology and National Informatics Centre. Library and Information Center was started at the erstwhile All India Institute of Mental Health (AIIMH) in the year 1954, with an initial collection of 3775 volumes and subscription to 85 journals. The AIIMH and the erstwhile Mental Hospital of the Government of Karnataka were amalgamated to form NIMHANS in the year 1974.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                    The library is spacious and well ventilated. The overall purpose of the Library and Information Centre is to support the curriculum offered at Jyoti Nivas College. The function of the library is to support and enrich classroom instruction through a collection of carefully selected material based on courses and programs offered by the college. The JNC Library was established in the year 1966 in Frazer Town, and shifted based later when the college shifted to Koramangala in1976. The Library was first housed in a small room, and then shifted to a large hall where it gradually developed into a big library, with a collection of around 30,000 books and 75 Periodicals and Journals.
