If you\u2019re looking for something a little less surf and a little more turf, then give Black Angus Steakhouse a try. Located inside the Meli\u00e1, this high-end steak house is sure to please anyone that enjoys\u00a0a good steak over seafood. If you\u2019re looking for something a bit more local and laid back, then head over to Crabs and Ting. Located on the beach, you order at a hut\/bar and dine outside. It’s\u00a0a great place to stop for a snack or light meal\u00a0while enjoying everything Nassau has to offer.<\/span><\/p>\n

What To See<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Now that you\u2019ve gotten a place to sleep and you have a few options for places to eat, you might be ready to explore. So, if laying on the beach all day isn’t your thing then no problem, there’s a lot going on. Cultural explorers might want to check out the\u00a0Rum, Reggae and Rhythms Tour. It\u2019s a full-on mix of games, dancing, music and quality rum, making it a great way to experience the infamous Caribbean party atmosphere. <\/span><\/p>\n

It costs around $55 per person, but if the reviews are anything to go buy it is money well spent. If you prefer spending more time around the ocean, then you should book a day trip to Rose Island. A totally secluded spot it offers visitors the ultimate escape with its luscious white sands and crystal clear waters. \u00a0Prices will run around $142 per adult, but you\u2019ll have a blast exploring the island. History buffs can take a Historical Sightseeing Tour. The tour lasts half a day, and you will learn about the history of Nassau and the Bahamas. The tour costs around $109 per person, but again, money well spent for a bit of local information.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nassau is filled with tons of fun things to do; you can even book an ATV tour if you want, or visit many of its neighbouring islands. Either way, you\u2019d practically have to live there to experience everything. Still, it\u2019s worth taking at least a week to explore everything Nassau has to offer and try all the local cuisine, get a good feel for the culture, or work on your tan. Whatever you decide to do, you definitely won\u2019t regret going.<\/span><\/p>\n
